IUPAP-endorsed conference Precision Physics of Simple Atomic Systems to be
held on the University of Windsor campus July 21 - 26, 2008.
The focus of the conference will be on the use of high-precision laser resonance
methods for the spectroscopic measurement of atomic transition frequencies and
other atomic properties. We expect the conference to attract about 100
researchers from university research groups across Canada and around the world,
including some of the recent Nobel Prize winners in the areas of laser cooling
and trapping, and Bose-Einstein condensation.
