My favorite Sunday run from Torrey Pines beach to La Jolla Cove ending up in Scripps Park at La Jolla Concerts by the sea. This Sunday it was the Queen of Boogie Woogie Sue Palmer&Her Motel Swing Orchestra
Torrey Pines beach can be crowded on the weekends near the main parking but becomes pretty spacious just one mile south, where the famous nude Blacks beach starts. Blacks beach ends up at reaches and beauty of La Jolla Farms beach separated from the La Jolla Shores beach by rocky section which is completely covered by water during high tides. That was the case that day, July 27th, 2008. After short swim around steep rocked I'm finally on a busy starch of the La Jolla Shores famous for it's easy surf, kayaking tours and leopard sharks. Another mile along La Jolla Cove shoreline abundant with shore life and I'm finally at La Jolla Cove Scripps Park and now can enjoy La Jolla Concerts by the Sea - a series of free concerts held during the summer. This Sunday it was the Queen of Boogie Woogie Sue Palmer&Her Motel Swing Orchestra
