Customer Inquiry:
What is the lead time on W-LiTaO3-18-18-75 and W-LiTaO3-15-15-100 . Will you
provide specs on the pyroelectric coeffecient and Curie temp for those samples ?
What is the meaning of Z-axis cut ?
Would the above samples work for power generation applications ?
Del Mar:
The substrates you requested were used by one of our customers in
pyroelectric
applications

Z-axis cut means wafer surface perpendicular to Z-axis.

Please describe your application in more details.
We produce a lot of LiTaO3 crystals for pyroelectric applications, but usually
these are rather thin Z-cut wafers, dia. 5-25 mm and thickness from 0.05 mm to
0.5 mm
For demonstration purposes we have some Z-cut crystals like 5x5x2 mm, 5x5x4 mm
and dia.9x0.5 mm
