Due to nonlinear interaction with biological tissue the femtosecond laser technology can be used for high precision micro machining. The resolution of a typical Optical Coherence Tomography system lies within the low m range as well as the accuracy of the fs laser micro machining system. We demonstrate the setup and use of a system consisting of a fs-laser and a Fourier Domain OCT using the same high NA objective for both, cutting and imaging. Examples of in situ OCT images of the surgery area before and after treatment as well as OCT aided cuts in various biological tissue will be shown.
